Welcome to the Nurture Business! Children’s Council’s suite of professional development opportunities meets prospective, new and established child care business-owners where they are and helps them move along a path toward high-quality caregiving and sustainable business practices. Through workshops, technical assistance, coaching, online resources and financial support, we are incubating viable home-based child care businesses; boosting the incomes of entrepreneurs; and increasing the supply of high-quality infant and toddler care in San Francisco’s low-income and high-need neighborhoods.
Wu Yee’s programs focus on prevention, early intervention, education, and advocacy. We offer a variety of services through center-based infant/toddler and preschool care, family child care (FCC), and home based services designed to support families with educational opportunities, resources, and to prepare children to be successful in school. We provide comprehensive services for pregnant women and children from birth through age five, with integrated education, health, nutrition, mental health, and family support services. We’re committed to partnering with families in order to create an environment that fosters opportunities for children to learn and for families to succeed.
